American composer Ruth White ..."Also in 1969, Mrs. White followed “Seven Trumps…” with the highly experimental release “Flowers of Evil”(1969), a record based on French poet Charles Baudelaire’s volume of poetry called “Les Fleurs du malput”, placing Baudelaire’s words to an electronic music. The poems, already dark and gloomy, were accented eerily by White’s use of “electroaccoustic” music – more specifically the Moog synthesizer.
